I live in conflict. We live in conflict. We exist in the tension of sin and holiness, of heaven and hell, of light and dark. We are buffeted by evil yet given power. We are troubled but made overcomers. We are in the world but not of the world. We have citizenship in heaven yet remain on earth.
Whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith. 1 John 5:4
Choices. I have choices. This world allows me the blessing and curse of choosing. I am instructed by God, taught by His word, and given a choice to follow and do. The testing, the suffering, the trials, the pain, lead me to constant choosing.
In trouble, pain, conflict, tension, and temptation I choose God. I will make it my priority to choose His way for my family. I will seek to follow His advice on raising my children in His way.
Choose right so that the choices made are not regretted.
